After the process of economical transformation and integration that has accelerated during post 1980’s term in the world’s economy, foreign direct investments have gained great importance. Today all developed and developing countries are making efforts in line with their policies about attracting foreign direct investments. In this study, primarily, the importance of increasing foreign direct capital investments with the integration process is elaborated. Secondarily, literature about the factors that are affecting the foreign direct capital inflow is briefly summarised and lastly, the implications of these factors on foreign direct investments are tested via a regression model.
