Abstract:

Art is a different language and a different field of expression for each individual. From the times in which art exists to this day, the artists in the quest to express themselves can be read through the attitudes or attitudes of the artists against events/legs.These works, which are a historical proof, are also a mirror of the culture and society in which the artist/designer is involved. Suleyman Saim Tekcan is one of the pioneers and important names of the Turkish printing art. The artist's inspiring academic and artistic life for future generations, the original artistic language and technical perfection in his works reflect his own land and culture. The works of Tekcan; extending to the future, the aesthetic values have been shaped in the framework of their original thoughts.The purpose of this article is to study the "Series of Civilizations" in which Suleyman Saim Tekcan offers an original example of the reflection of culture in the printing art.In this series of artists who have great contributions to the formation process of the Turkish printing painting identity, we are witnessing an intrinsic process in the interaction of contemporary thought structure with the images of civilization.
