Abstract:

Contemporary understanding of science has made the understanding of interdisciplinary work necessary in order to reach the absolute truth. We should evaluate the institutional and conceptual coexistence of the sciences of history and archeology in this context. It is extremely important that objective data can be obtained and a correct chronology can be written in the writing of the story of human beings. There is an absolute need for institutional cooperation between history and archeology in order to objectively write the historical chronology of the civilization before and after the invention of writing, with reference to universal scientific principles. Otherwise, the writing of experiences about the past will take the form of a set of stories that vary according to people, time, ideologies, and geography, and of course, everyone adds something, rather than being scientific data. However, as history and archeology, which generally follow a collective working method, are independent disciplines, there are points where the collective working method is in the background from time to time and these two disciplines diverge or conflict.
