Abstract:

As a result of the national struggle led by Mustafa Kemal, the Turkısh nation gained indepence and the foundations of the new Turkısh state were laid. In the following process, changes in the understanding of government were experienced and the new form of goverment was determined as a republic. Despite some diffucultes in the transition to the republican administration the uncompromising revolutionary spirit from the understanding of the Turkısh Grand National Asembly elected the first president of the new Turkish state Mustafa Kemal. Managing for about 15 years in his capacity as president of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk passed away on 10 November 1938 of the disease hence.                 The founder and the first president of the Republic of Turkey the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk the death of the future of the country in the country, although it is with sadness for the survival of the Republic and a new president had to be elected. Fot this reason, the parliamentary election process has been carried out Hatay’s acession process to Turkey and the delicate period in which the country is located have been effective in electing the presidency.                Malatya deputy İsmet İnönü was appointed as the pressidential candidate by the Republican People’s Party. As a result of the elections held in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, İsmet İnönü was elected as the new president of the Republic by the votes of deputies. The presidental election resulted in a smooth result of the parliaments positive attitude.                After the presidential election Atatürk had to be elected as a deputy instead. Therefore Arif Baytın was appointed as Ankara deputyby the Republican People’s Party. As a result of the interim elections held in Ankara, Arif Baytın was elected to Ankara deputy which was vacated from Atatürk. Thus the parliamentary election process has been successful.
