Abstract:

Agricultural tourism, one of the species of rural tourism, is spreading with the loss of interest of the classical tourism species. In the context of sustainable perspectives, researchers have conducted a variety of studies taking into account elements such as environmental sensitivity, impact on rural development, marketing and entrepreneurship dimensions, policies and strategies that countries create in the direction of agricultural tourism. The classification of the studies on agricultural tourism is important in the academic sense, because the detection of the missing areas will lead to the concentration of these areas. According to the main issue of the study, national/international books, theses, articles on agricultural tourism have been studied. When the results of the study were evaluated as a whole, the studies were often in the direction of researching the agricultural tourism activities, the relationship between agricultural tourism and rural development. In addition, the policies and entrepreneurship examples developed in the field of agricultural tourism, the relationship of sustainability of agricultural tourism, the viewpoint of the local people on agricultural tourism, and other issues have been frequently studied. The area of agricultural tourism which is relatively less research subject is gastronomian.
