During the early Republic, the important foot of the nation-inşa project was the work of history printing. Unfortunately, one of the names that came to mind in this area was the Fuat Bridge and its contribution to its research into nationalist history. In the historical narrative in which the Turks are trying to create historical myth, national spirit, with the emphasis on the primitive periods in the history books created in the present period, it is possible to see the traces of the ethno-symbolic approach that begins with John Armstrong and continues with Anthony Smith. This study aims to describe the similarities between them by comparing the nationalist approach of the Fuat Bridge with the approaches of the ethno-symbolic theory. He also claims, based on the similarities between them, that the Bridge nationalism is an important example that can be included in the ethno-sembolic classification. The focus of this study is to open a debate on how the Fuat Bridge nationalism is an example while evaluating the meeting point of history and ethnic origin from an ethno-sembolic point of view. Finally, this study does not contain an anacronistic error because it does not intend to explain the Bridge nationalist approach through ethno-sembolicism.
