Abstract:

The aim of this study is to identify the opinions of the teaching candidates on the "Teaching Technologies and Material Design Course" and to determine the situations they encounter in this course. The research work group in the 2017-2018 academic year forms a total of 75 teachers candidates studying in Class Teaching, Turkish Teaching and Pre-School Teaching. The research method has been used. The data was collected with a semi-configured interview form prepared by the researcher. The data obtained is analyzed by content analysis. In view of the results of the study, the vast majority of teaching candidates are among the most expressed opinions that the materials to be prepared primarily should attract the attention of the students, that the prices of the materials to be taken for the preparation of the material are appropriate, that the materials that are prepared are sustainable.  Also, the creation of a group of teachers candidates during the preparation of the material or the request to work individually is given by a joint decision of the student and the faculty member. The material made can be presented to the schools after the necessary permissions were obtained to be reused. In addition, the materials they have done to increase the motivation of the teaching candidates to the course can be displayed at the end of the semester.
