Özet:

Access to the school is a gateway, to achieve the universally defined goal of Education for All. Schooling for all is a slogan which has attracted the attention of researchers and policy makers of developing countries too. This research attempts to analyze the Punjab government incentives for the betterment of education sector and its positive influence to reduce the dropout phenomena in District Sargodha. The present research explores the perception of the administrators of school education department towards these incentives. A qualitative research method is used to collect the information from selected respondents. One urban and one rural Tehsil of Sargodha district was selected and 22respondents were also selected purposively. The study summarizes that dropout ratio has declined in the past years through the delivery of good quality education and provision of equal right to education in the district. Although the government has planned to achieve the target of maximum enrollment in the province but still the presence of out of school children is a big challenge for the authorities. The study recommends adoption of such measure which can overcome the dropout problem like organizing awareness programs for public, teachers and students related to educational incentives so that the desired educational goals can be attained at the earliest.
