Bu çalışma dört temel ibadeti konu edinmiştir ve yeni bir yöntem kullanarak ibadetlerin bireysel ve toplumsal boyutlarını yeniden çözümlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Kullanılan yöntem tek kişinin yaşadığı farazi bir dünya tasavvur etmek ve ibadetlerin bu kişi için uygulanabilirlik durumlarını gözlemektir. Bu yöntem sayesinde ibadetlerdeki bireysel ve toplumsal boyutların haritasını daha anlaşılır şekilde çıkarmak mümkündür. Bir ibadetin tek kişilik bir dünyada uygulanabilirliği yüksekse o ibadetin bireysel boyutu yüksek demektir eğer düşükse toplumsal boyutu yüksek demektir. Tek kişinin hiç uygulayamadığı ibadet pür toplumsaldır. İbadetler içinde pür bireysel olan oruçtur. Çünkü sıfır iletişimli bir ortamda tüm rükünleri yerine getirilebilir. Hac ise ontolojik olarak bireysel fakat sosyolojik olarak toplumsaldır. Namaz hem bireysel hem toplumsaldır. Pür toplumsal olansa zekâttır. Zekât tek kişilik bir dünyada hiç ortaya çıkmayan tek ibadettir. Bu yöntem sayesinde ibadetlerle onların toplumsal fonksiyonlarını birbirinden ayırmak da mümkündür. Topluluk ve iletişimin varlığı bazı ibadetlerin sevabını yükseltebilir fakat riya durumunda topluluk ibadetler için bir tehdit unsurudur. Riya sadece toplulukla birlikte ortaya çıkabilir. Riyayı tespit etmenin yolu da tek kişilik dünyaya bakmaktan geçer.
This study focused on four basic worship in İslam and aimed to re-analyze the individual and social dimensions of this worship by using a new method. The method used is to envision a imaginary world in which one person lives and to observe the applicability of prayers to that person. Thanks to this method, it is possible to map the individual and social dimensions in worships more clearly. If the applicability of a worship in a one-person world is high, it means that the individual dimension of that worship is high, if it is low, it means that the social dimension is high.Worship that one person can never practice is pure social. What is pure individual among worshiping is fasting. Because in an environment with zero communication, all its orders can be fulfilled. Hajj is ontologically individual but sociologically social. Prayer (namaz) is both individual and social. What is pure social is zakat. Zakat is the only worship that never occurs in a one-man world. Thanks to this method, it seems possible to distinguish between worship and their social functions. The presence of community and communication may increase the rewards of some worships, but in the case of riya (hypocrisy), the community is a threat to worship. Riya can only arise with the community. The way to detect the riya is to look at the one-man world.
