So many results that aren't mine?

Podcastler ile ilgili yazılan lisansüstü tezlerin incelenmesi

Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı, Türkiye’de podcastlerle ilgili yazılan lisansüstü tezlerin farklı değişkenler açısından incelenmesidir. Bu araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu Yükseköğretim Kurulu Ulusal Tez Merkezi yer alan podcast konulu lisansüstü tezlerden oluşmaktadır. Bu kapsamda toplam 12 lisansüstü teze ulaşılmıştır. Ulaşılan bu 12 lisansüstü tezin tümü açık erişimli olduğundan araştırmanın çalışma grubuna bu 12 tez dâhil edilmiştir. İncelenen tezlerin 10’unun yabancı dillerde (9 İngilizce, 1 Almanca) 2’sinin Türkçe olarak yazıldığı; 8’inin yüksek lisans tezi ve 4’ünün de doktora tezi olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma verilerini oluşturan bu tezler; tez numarası, yazar, tez adı, yıl, üniversite, enstitü, ana bilim dalı, eğitim programı, konu, yöntem, çalışma grubu/evren-örneklem, yazım dili bilgilerini içeren bir excel dosyasına kaydedilmiştir. Kaydedilen veriler için betimsel analiz kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, Türkiye’de podcast konulu ilk tezin 2010 yılında yazıldığı, konuyla ilgili tezlerin çoğunlukla yüksek lisans tezi olduğu, dil öğretimi konulu çalışıldığı ve dil eğitimi bölümlerinde yazıldığı bulunmuştur.

Examination Of Postgraduate Theses Written About Podcasts

Abstract:

The aim of this research is to examine the postgraduate theses written about podcasts in Turkey in terms of different variables. This study adopts qualitative document analysis method. Theses involving the use of podcast in education field included in this study were received from the Council of Higher Education (CoHE) National Thesis Center. Accordingly, 12 theses were involved in the study. All 12 postgraduate theses are open access. The study group of the research consists of these 12 theses. It was determined that 10 theses were written in foreign languages (9 English, 1 German) and 2 of them were written in Turkish. All theses are open access. 8 of the theses are master's theses and 4 of them are doctoral theses. These theses formed the research data. Thesis number, author, thesis name, year, university, institute, department, education program, subject, method, study group/universe-sample, writing language information were recorded in an excel file. Descriptive analysis was adopted in this study. As a result of the research, it was found that the theses on podcasts were mostly master's theses, the first thesis was written in 2010 in Turkey, 10 theses were written in a foreign language, mostly language teaching was studied and mostly written in language education departments.
