Abstract:

Turkey has often faced disasters that lead to deaths, injuries and loss of property. Among these natural dangers are mainly earthquakes, floods, waterfalls, rocks and rocks, drought is significantly causing damage. In order to prevent and reduce disasters, the resources must be managed in accordance with these common objectives, with all the institutions and organizations of the community, in order to plan, direct, coordinate, support and implement the work that must be done before, after and after a disasters. It is also possible to reduce and prevent catastrophic damages only with a multidisciplinary approach to catastrophic risk management. A general law organization is also an organization that is responsible for disasters and takes on important roles and functions. In this context, the impact of the roles of the coordination units in the task and responsibilities of the Turkish Disaster Plan (TAMP) is increasingly highlighted, especially in the processes of gathering and accommodation.In this study, the effectiveness of the tent-building units in the activities carried out by the Jandarma in the Elazığ Earthquake, which is part of the disaster management, and the facts related to the public communication and media reflections of this issue are analyzed.
