Özet:

In Islamic thought, the presence of a number of unchangable laws called "Adadullah" or "Sunnetullah" (the laws of God in nature) are accepted on which God validates in the universe and replaces the perfect order of the universe. However, occurance of some spectecular miracles are accepted such as irhas, miracle and inveigling (al-istidrac) by temporary suspension of these laws. Because it is only God but no other founds and executes this order in the universe, people must avoid to replace the cause-effect relationship for God by the time and be aware that there is no self-continuity and repetition in an action-reaction mechanism in nature. In Islamic literature, if this extraordinary event appears in the hands of a saint believer, who is aware of his responsibility, has piety and taqwa, heads on a righteous way, it is called as the concept of dignity (alkaramat). Although many types of dignity mentioned in the sources, this article first gives the opinions of theology (Kalam) scholars’ views on the subject and then it is tried to determine the teachings of the Qur’an about dignity.
