Abstract:

This study aims to study the research trends in postgraduate thesis studies on Open Education Resources (AEK). The 47 postgraduate thesis in the ProQuest database, which was published between 2018-2023 and the keywords of "open educational resources", has been studied by systematic scanning method. The research finds that in 2017 and 2019 the number of theses reached the highest point and that the majority of doctoral theses related to AEK were conducted. When the findings relating to the research method used were studied, it was determined that mainly the qualitative research methods were preferred, that the most interviews and surveys were used as a data collection tool, that the academics and students in higher education institutions were preferred as a sample group, and that the theses were conducted with the aim of determining the views of the most teachers/academics on the use of AEK. There are also some recommendations from the research findings.
