Abstract:

As an online learning environment, as one of the materials offered to students on the Anadolum eCampus platform of the Anatolian University Open Education System, live courses represent the learning material that the teacher prepares through the book of the course, performs the presentation in a visual and hearing manner and responds simultaneously to questions from students. During about 45 to 60 minutes live lessons, the subject narration, question-response and subject repetition activities are carried out and the learners can get interactive answers to their questions. In this study, the qualitative research method has been used by the cutting-edge scan model. The study examined the views of open and remote learning students who have registered in the Open Teaching System and used the live lesson learning material at least once on live lessons. In the spring period of the 2021-2022 academic year, 566 courses in the open education system were successfully carried out in a 12-week period. Therefore, the examination range is limited to the 12 week live lesson activities carried out. At the end of the study, the live lesson satisfaction survey data was used. As a result, students who participate in live courses on day and hour, who prefer to live courses on weekly evening, who want to make compensation courses on weekends and who do not have any problems with accessing compensation day-hour announcements have found that the level of satisfaction for live courses is quite high in the positive direction.
