Abstract:

This study aims to identify the opinions of teachers candidates on the concepts of concentration and concentration and, consequently, to determine the levels of conceptual errors and misunderstandings. In the study, the scientific knowledge of the concepts of concentration and concentration has been used for a deep study of the opinions of the teacher candidates, the example of the event method. The study was conducted with a total of 42 science knowledge teachers candidates, including 37 women and 5 men, who studied in the "Fen Information Teaching" program at a state university located in the Black Sea Region during the 2020-2021 educational and educational year. The data of the research was collected within the course of Physics-III. Scientific knowledge teacher candidates’ opinions on concentration and concentration concepts were preferred as an open-end survey as a data collection method. This form, prepared by the researcher with the expert opinion, consists of a total of 5 questions about what the concentration and concentration is, what the samples are and what the similarities and differences of these two concepts are. With the necessary permissions in the framework of the research, the teacher candidates were advised to be volunteer and the data due to the pandemic process was collected via the e-mail system. The analysis of the data obtained from the study has been used by the visual analysis. The analysis of the data found that in general, the teaching candidates had errors regarding the concepts of concentration and concentration and that they could not distinguish the concepts by using each other in place. It is believed that the reason for this could be because in the "Fen Sciences Teaching Program" and in the curriculum books these concepts were used in their place. Based on the results of the research, it is recommended that different teaching methods and techniques may be used in order to resolve the conceptual errors of teachers.
