Abstract:

This study examines the relationship between psychological consulting skills and emotional management of psychological consultants. Relational scan model was used in the research. The participants in the research, the Main Science Department of Guidance and Psychological Consultancy 4. The 228 volunteer psychological consultants form candidates who study in their classes and have received the "Individual Psychological Consulting Practices" course. The research data was obtained by the Psychological Consulting Skills Differentiation (PDBA) scale and the Emotional Management Skills (DYB) scale. In the analysis of the data, Pearson Moments Collapse Correlation Analysis and Multiple Regression Analysis have been used. As a result, the study found that gender psychological consultant candidates did not make a significant difference in their psychological consulting skills; the ability to express emotional management verbally showed a significant difference in gender. According to this, the ability of female psychologist candidates to express themselves verbally is higher than the ability of men. It has also been achieved the result that the candidates for psychological counseling have a positive meaningful relationship between psychological counseling skills and emotional management, and that emotional management has a meaningful impact on psychological counseling skills.
