Okul yöneticilerinin ve öğretmenlerin stres kaynaklarının araştırıldığı bu çalışmada stres yaratan nedenlerden ne kadar etkilendiklerini, stresin nedenlerinin tespit edilerek stresle mücadele ve stresi önleme sürecine destek sunabilecek mekanizmaların geliştirilmesine katkı sağlamayı amaçlamaktadır. 2013-2014 eğitim öğretim döneminde Düzce ilinde yüksek lisans programında eğitim alan 50 öğretmenin katılım sağladı araştırma grubunda nitel araştırma yöntemi ve tarama modeli durum çalışması tekniği kullanılmıştır. Yarı yapılandırılmış sorular ve açık uçlu soru tekniği ile toplanan veriler betimsel analiz tekniği ile değerlendirmeye alınmış ve şu sonuçlar çıkarılmıştır: Öğretmenlerin okullarda iletişim, çalışma alanı, hiyerarşik yapılanma ve kariyer odaklı engelleyici stres kaynakları bulunmaktadır. Stresin fazla düzeyde veya yönetilememesi halinde fizyolojik, psikolojik ve mesleki sorunlar meydana gelecektir. Okul yöneticilerinin yaşadığı iş stresi hakkındaki veriler, Eskişehir ili Odunpazarı ilçesinde resmi ilkokullarda görev yapan gönüllü 10 okul müdürü ile yapılan yarı yapılandırılmış açık uçlu sorularla ve görüşme tekniğiyle toplanmıştır. Nitel veri analiz programı MAXQDA kullanılarak kategoriler ve temalar ile iş stresi kaynakları, iş stresinin nasıl etkilediği, iş stresi ile nasıl başa çıktıkları ve genel görüşleri incelenmiştir.
School managers and teachers are aimed at contributing to the development of mechanisms that can support the process of fighting stress and stress prevention by identifying the causes of stress, how much they are affected by the causes of stress. During the 2013-2014 educational teaching period, 50 teachers who studied in the master's program in the Düzce province participated in the research group used the quality research method and the scanning model case study technique. The data collected through semi-structured questions and open-end questioning techniques were taken to be evaluated through the visual analysis technique and the following results were drawn out: Teachers have communication, workplace, hierarchical structure, and career-oriented obstructive stress sources in schools. If stress is excessive or unmanaged, physiological, psychological and professional problems will occur. The data on the work stress that the school managers experience, is collected with semi-configured open end questions and interview technique with the volunteer 10 school managers who work in the official primary schools in Eskişehir or Odunpazarı district. The quality data analysis program MAXQDA has studied categories and topics with work stress sources, how work stress affects, how they deal with work stress and general views.
