Nagorno-Karabakh question which has been one of the crucial conflict areas of the post-Soviet Caucasus geography has a long history. Thus, the conflict and consensus attempts in this problem between Azerbaijan and Armenia have shown continuity. 1988-1994 war has led to important developments between the two sides. In the following process, Minsk Group working under Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe has tried to compromise. In spite of this, conflicts in April 2016 indicated that the question was still alive. In this framework, European Union has also developed various policies regarding the question as well as other international organizations and global powers. This study has been separated from the previous ones by examining the role and impact of the European Union in the Nagorno-Karabakh question. In this context, this study initially deals with the historical background of the question. Next chapter chronologically examines the policies implemented by the European Union. Furthermore, the study also addresses the European Union Special Representative that has been assign to the question. Consequently, it is expressed that the EU does not have an active role in the resolution of the question
