Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkçeyi yabancı dil olarak öğrenmiş öğrencilerin Türk kültürüne yönelik tutumlarını belirlemede kullanılabilecek veri toplama araçları geliştirmektir. Araştırmanın açımlayıcı faktör analizi örnekleminde 311, doğrulayıcı faktör analizi örnekleminde 184 üniversite öğrencisi bulunmaktadır. Ölçeğin yapı geçerliğini belirlemek amacıyla açımlayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi yapılmıştır. Ölçek bir tutumun boyutları olan bilişsel, duygusal ve davranışsal tutumu ölçecek şekilde organize edilmiş ancak açımlayıcı faktör analizi sonucunda beklenen yapıya ulaşılamamıştır. Bu aşamadan sonra ölçek birbirinden bağımsız 3 ölçek olarak analiz edilmiştir. Türk Kültürüne Yönelik Bilişsel Tutum Ölçeğinin tek boyutlu yapısında 8 madde bulunmakta ve bu yapı varyansın % 44,84’ünü açıklamaktadır. Ölçeğin Cronbach alfa katsayısı ise .82’dir. Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi sonucu hesaplanan uyum iyiliği değerleri şöyledir: χ2/sd=1.789, AGFI=.919, GFI=.955, CFI=.960, NFI=.915, IFI=.961, RMSEA=.066. Türk Kültürüne Yönelik Duygusal Tutum Ölçeğinin tek boyutlu yapısında 9 madde bulunmakta ve bu yapı varyansın % 37,40’ını açıklamaktadır. Ölçeğin Cronbach alfa katsayısı ise .78’dir. Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi sonucu hesaplanan uyum iyiliği değerleri şöyledir: χ2/sd=1.316, AGFI=.930, GFI=.958, CFI=.982, NFI=.929, IFI=.982, RMSEA=.042. Türk Kültürüne Yönelik Davranışsal Tutum Ölçeğinin tek boyutlu yapısında 10 madde bulunmakta ve bu yapı varyansın % 42,82’sini açıklamaktadır. Ölçeğin Cronbach alfa katsayısı ise .84’tür. Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi sonucu hesaplanan uyum iyiliği değerleri şöyledir: χ2/sd=1.810, AGFI=.858, GFI=.934, CFI=.963, NFI=.889, IFI=.930, RMSEA=.067.
The aim of this study is to develop data collection tools that can be used to determine the attitudes of students who have learned Turkish as a foreign language towards Turkish culture. There were 311 university students in the exploratory factor analysis sample and 184 university students in the confirmatory factor analysis sample of the study. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis was performed to determine the construct validity of the scale. The scale was organized to measure cognitive, affective and behavioral attitudes, which are the dimensions of an attitude, but the expected structure could not be reached as a result of the exploratory factor analysis. After this stage, the scale was analyzed as 3 independent scales. There are 8 items in the one-dimensional structure of the Scale of Cognitive Attitudes towards Turkish Culture, and this structure explains 44.84% of the variance. The Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient of the scale is .82. Goodness of fit values calculated by Confirmatory Factor Analysis is as follows: χ2/sd=1.789, AGFI=.919, GFI=.955, CFI=.960, NFI=.915, IFI=.961, RMSEA=.066. There are 9 items in the one-dimensional structure of the Affective Attitude Scale towards Turkish Culture, and this structure explains 37.40% of the variance. The Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient of the scale is .78. Goodness of fit values calculated by Confirmatory Factor Analysis is as follows: χ2/sd=1.316, AGFI=.930, GFI=.958, CFI=.982, NFI=.929, IFI=.982, RMSEA=.042. There are 10 items in the one-dimensional structure of the Behavioral Attitude Scale towards Turkish Culture, and this structure explains 42.82% of the variance. The Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient of the scale is .84. Goodness of fit values calculated by Confirmatory Factor Analysis is as follows: χ2/sd=1.810, AGFI=.858, GFI=.934, CFI=.963, NFI=.889, IFI=.930, RMSEA=.067.
