İbn Hişâm en-Nahvî’nin (ö. 761/1360) “el-İ‘râb ‘an kavâ‘idi’l-i‘râb” adlı eserine birçok şerh yazılmıştır. Bunlar arasında Osmanlı âlimlerinden Bergamalı Muhyiddîn Muhammed b. Süleyman el-Kâfiyeci’nin (ö. 879/1474) “Şerhu’l-i‘râb ‘an kavâ‘idi’l-i‘râb” adlı şerhi önemli bir yere sahiptir. Ömrünün büyük bir kısmını 15. asırda geçiren Kâfiyeci, Arap dili ve edebiyatı başta olmak üzere tefsir, hadis, kelam, fıkıh gibi birçok ilim dalında eser vermiş ansiklopedist âlimlerdendir. Bu çalışmada önce Kâfiyeci’nin hayatı ve ilmi kişiliğine dair birtakım bilgiler verilecek daha sonra da onun “Şerhu’l-i‘râb ‘an kavâ‘idi’l-i‘râb”taki şerh yöntemi, kaynakları, tercihleri ve nahve dair yaklaşımları üzerinde durulacaktır. Bu bağlamda yapılacak çeşitli mülahazalarla Kâfiyeci’nin dil ve nahiv alanındaki ilmî birikimine ışık tutulacaktır.

This study will first give some information about the life of the Kafiyeci and the knowledge personality and then will focus on his "Sherhu'l-i'râb'an-kââ'idi'l-i'râb" on the sherh method, sources, preferences and approaches to the nahve. In this context, the various discussions will be held with the knowledge of the Cafici's language and the field of Nahiv.
