SOSYAL ÖĞRENME KURAMI ÇERÇEVESİNDE 2-6 YAŞ DÖNEMİ ÇOCUKLAR İÇİN AİLEDE DEĞER EĞİTİMİ İLKELERİ

Abstract:

Bireyin yetişkinlik hayatının temellerini oluşturması bakımından çocukluk dönemi ve bu dönemde alınan din eğitimi oldukça önemlidir. Çocukluğun önemli bir aşaması olan okul öncesi dönemde çocuğun aile ortamında bulunması ebeveynlere din eğitiminin ailede başlaması imkânını sunmaktadır. Okul öncesi dönemi kapsayan 2-6 yaş arası çocuklar daha çok model alma ve gözlem yoluyla öğrenmektedir. Bu öğrenme yolu, eğitimde sosyal öğrenme kuramı olarak isimlendirilmektedir. Çocuk ailede sosyal öğrenme yoluyla özellikle değerleri öğrenmeye başlamaktadır. Her ne kadar anne ve baba teorik açıdan bu kuramın farkında olmasa da süreç buna göre gerçekleşmektedir. Bu sürece uygun olarak anne ve babanın çocuğun din eğitiminde dikkat etmesi gereken bazı temel ilkeler bulunmaktadır. Buradan hareketle makalenin amacı, bu ilkeleri literatür taraması ile tespit edebilmektir. Araştırmanın temel sorusu ailedeki din eğitiminde Sosyal Öğrenme Kuramı ile değer eğitimi verilirken anne-babanın dikkat etmesi gereken ilkeler nelerdir? şeklinde belirlenmiştir. Konu ile ilgili yazılmış temel kaynaklar belirlenerek çocuğa yönelik din eğitimi erken çocukluk dönemi (2-6 yaş) çocuğun özellikleri, değer eğitimi ve Sosyal Öğrenme Kuramı çerçevesinde ele alınıp içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Araştırma sorusu çerçevesinde dikkat edilecek hususlar belirlenmiştir. Bunlar arasında Sosyal Öğrenme Kuramı ile ilişkili ilkeler sıralanmış, ilişkili olmadığı düşünülen ilkeler dışarıda bırakılmış, benzer olanlar bir araya getirilerek altı temel ilke elde edilmiştir.

The childhood period and the religious education received during this period are very important in terms of the foundation of the individual’s adult life. The presence of the child in a family environment, which is an important phase of childhood, provides the possibility for the parents to begin religious education in the family. Children between 2 and 6 years of age, covering the pre-school period, learn more through modeling and observation. This way of learning is called social learning in education. The child begins to learn values through social learning in the family. Although the mother and father are not theoretically aware of this theory, the process occurs according to it. In this process, there are some basic principles that parents and parents should pay attention to in their child’s religious education. From here, the purpose of the article is to be able to identify these principles through the scan of literature. The main question of the research is what are the principles that parents should pay attention when giving value education with the Social Learning Theory in the family's religious education? It is defined in form. By identifying the written basic sources related to the subject, religious education aimed at the child; early childhood (2-6 years of age) characteristics of the child, value education and social learning theory were addressed and subjected to content analysis. The research has been determined in the framework of the research. Among them the principles associated with the Social Learning Theory are classified, the principles considered not associated are left out, the similar ones are gathered together and the six basic principles are achieved.

During the developmental periods, childhood and religious education taken during this period are very important for the individual to form the basis of adult life. At the same time, individual learns intensively and his/her personality begins to form in this period. The fact that the child is with the family in preschool period gives parents the opportunity to start religious education in the family. Children aged 2-6 learn more through modelling and observation. This learning style is called social learning theory. Children start to learn the values primarily through social learning in their family. Although parents are not aware of this theory, the process takes place accordingly. It is clear that there is a close relationship between values and religion. It is known that value education has a mutual relationship with the religious field in terms of content and method. Child’s learning of values, many behaviours and emotions through observation reveals the necessity of examining the issues that parents should pay attention to while they are teaching values. In accordance with this process, there are some basic principles that parents should pay attention to religious education of a child. The principles suggested in the article were tried to be determined by making the literature review. In this study, value teaching of a family was built around Social Learning Theory. In addition, religious education for children and the issues that parents should pay attention to in the education process are discussed within the framework of the characteristics and value education of the early childhood period. In this respect, the principles to be considered with social learning theory in the teaching of values are explained by limiting with six principles in this study.
