Abstract:

The aim of this study is to identify the views of individuals who leave their day-to-day education and continue their education in the open high school. Study is the study of the scanning model in the quantum research method. The study group consists of 43 of the 65 students residing in the Muğla Ili Ula district and registered in the Open High School. 28 of the high school students are female and 15 are male. The scale was applied to students with 9 questions prepared by Fidan for "Earth Learning Attitudes and Epistemological Faiths of Remote Education Students". The study found that the general arithmetic average (X=3.88; I agree) of the high school opinions of the individuals involved in the study was at the level. It can be stated that the satisfaction of individuals who participate in the study towards the open high school application is high. It has been found that there is a significant difference between the opinions of high school students in relation to the gender variable (p<.05). The average views of male students on open high school (X=4.31), while the average views of girls on open high school (X=3.60) are at the level. Men’s students are more satisfied than women’s high school students. The reasons why students go to the open high school include:ining a job-life balance due to economic reasons, getting into employment, negative financial conditions, and reasons for a professional career. Depending on individual reasons; individual learning effort and alternative opportunities in learning are available. The reason for the school is the reason for the teachers and the reason for the school system. In short, the decision to enter open high school depends on the exclusive effect of the school and the factors outside the school are more attractive.
