Abstract:

The objective of this study is to analyze the studies in which comparative single-subject research model is used in terms of dependent variable, independent variable, age, gender, and diagnosis of subjects, comparison model used, monitoring, generalization, social validity, inter-observer reliability, and application reliability variables carried out in special education in Turkey from 2000 to 2015. This study was designed in the scanning model. 23 theses and 5 articles published in Turkey from 2000 to 2015 and in which comparative single-subject research models are used constitute the research group of the study The descriptive analysis was used for analyzing studies reached. In accordance with these analyses, studies were evaluated in terms of a) dependent variable, b) independent variable, c) characteristics of the participant (diagnosis, age, gender, and number), d) research design, e) application environment, f) generalization and monitoring, g) reliability, h) social validity, and i) findings data.
