Bu çalışmanın amacı, Tatar edebi dilinde terminolojinin gelişim sürecini göstermektedir. Terim, herhangi bir bilim alanında tek anlama sahip olan (monosemantik) ve bu bilim alanının diğer terimlerine uygun olan, kavramı net ve kısa bir şekilde adlandıran sözcük veya söz öbeğidir. Tatarcada terimleri yaratama çabalarını ve ilk bilimsel terimlerin ortaya çıkışını, 12-13. yüzyıllara ait bilimsel risaleler, edebi eserler, emirler, diplomatik mektuplar gibi kaynaklarda görmek mümkündür. Genel olarak, 19. yüzyıla kadar yeni terimler, yeni keşiflerle ortaya çıkmış, bilim dallarının biçimlenmesiyle gelişmiştir. Tatarcada, Arapçadan ve az miktarda Farsçadan alıntılanan terimlerin mevcut olduğu görülmektedir. 19. yüzyılın sonunda dilde Latince ve Grekçe kökenli söz varlığının oluşması ile terminolojiye de Batı kökenli terimler girmeye başlamıştır. Ekim Devrimi’nden sonra modern Tataristan Cumhuriyeti toprakları SSCB bünyesine girerek Sovyetler Birliği’nde yürütülen terim standartlaştırma çalışmalarına dahil edilmiştir. Sovyetler Birliği’nin yıkılmasından sonra Tataristan’da Tatarcanın Rusça ile birlikte devlet dili olarak kabul edilmesiyle Tatarcanın sosyal, kültürel ve bilimsel fonksiyonu genişletilmiştir. The aim of this study is to show the process of development of terminology in the Tatar literary language. The term is a word or word that has a single meaning (monosemantic) in any field of science and that corresponds to the other terms of this field of science, clearly and briefly calling the concept. It is possible to see the efforts to create terms in Tatarcada and the appearance of the early scientific terms in sources such as 12-13 centuries' scientific records, literary works, orders, diplomatic letters. It appears that there are terms that are quoted from Arabic and a small number of Persian. 19th. At the end of the century, with the formation of Latin and Greek words in the language, the terms of Western origin began to enter the terminology. After the October Revolution, the modern territories of the Republic of Tatarstan entered the Soviet Union and were incorporated into the term standardization work in the Soviet Union. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the social, cultural and scientific function of the Tatar was expanded with the recognition of Tatarcan as the state language in Tatarstan along with the Russian. This is the result of the development of the terminological existence in the relevant fields.
This research aims to show the development of terminology in the Tatar literary language. The term term can be defined as a word or a word combination that has a single meaning in a particular field of science and names the concept clearly and concisely. The emergence of the first terms in the Tatar language can be observed in the 12–13th century. These new term are seen in sources such as scientific treatises, literary works, orders, and diplomatic letters of that period. The main driving force of this process was the adoption of Islam in 922 by the Tatars. Switching to the Arabic writing system also enabled this process to gather steam. This process included the Tatars in the Muslim civilization. From this time onward, Arabic has had a great influence, as it was the language of religion, science, and law. As a result, Arabic (and to a lesser extent Persian) became the source language for terms and abstract concepts in the Tatar language.
