Abstract:

The designs of the universe and nature of the Turks, thanks to these designs, have reached our day thanks to their perceptions of the world and the environment, thanks to the legends. The designs of the universe of the Turks are built on a dicotomic structure. This structure contains two basic elements. One of them is heaven and the other is earth. The Turks, from very ancient times, have believed that there are some powers in nature and have sanctified them. Heaven is one of these great powers. As a result of the sainting of the Turks, the faith of Heaven God emerged. Heaven God believed and the cults of the sun, moon and stars he brought with him reflected in the legends. In our review, there are 13 legends about the formation of the heavens and heavens of the Uyghur Turks, which are classified according to themes. With this study, the design of the universe in the Turks will be reflected in the legends of the Uyghur Turks, and the legends of the Uyghur Turks will be addressed both text-centered and context-centered.
