Kültür Endüstrisi Perspektifinde Meta Estetiği ve Geleneksel Sanat

Abstract:

Theodor W. Adorno ve Max Horkheimer tarafından kavramsallaştırılan kültür endüstrisi benzeşme/aynılaşma bağlamında sanat eserini birer meta olarak kabul etmektedir. Kültür endüstrisinin beslediği tüketim formları yeni olanı cazip kılmakta ve bu doğrultuda gelenek ve modern karşıtlığı beslenmektedir. Kapitalizm ve estetik perspektifinden doğan meta estetiği kavramı geleneksel sanat çerçevesinde değerlendirildiğinde geleneksel estetik kavramının oluşumunu sağlamaktadır. Mevcut çalışmada fenomenolojik çözümleme ile kültür endüstrilerinin bir sonucu olarak görülebilecek meta estetiği kavramı incelenmiş, estetik değer, sanatın toplumsal konumu ve yorumu değerlendirilmiştir. Söz konusu çözümleme neticesinde kültür endüstrisinin bir vaat olarak sunduğu estetik haz geleneksel sanatlar odağında incelendiğinde yerini fikir üretimi, eserin özgünlüğü, düşünüm süreci ve bedensel emeğin söz konusu olması gibi hususlara bırakmakta ve bu hususlar estetik hazzı belirleyebilmektedir. Araştırma neticesinde tüketim toplumunu besleyen bir endüstri olarak beliren kültürün tüketicilerin istekleri çerçevesinde biçimlendiği, geleneksel sanatların zamana yayılan üretim sürecinin endüstriyel formda seri üretime dönüştüğü, usta-çırak usulünün yerini araç-gereçlerin aldığı, toplumdan beslenen geleneksel üretimin ve estetik hazzın yerini kullanım değerine bıraktığı sonucuna ulaşılmış ve geleneksel estetik kavramı betimlenmiştir.

The culture industry, conceptualized by Theodor W. Adorno and Max Horkheimer, accepts the work of art as a commodity in the context of similarity. The consumption forms supplied by the culture industry make the new attractive, and in this direction, the opposition of tradition and modern is nurtured. When considered within the framework of traditional art, the concept of meta aesthetics, which consists of capitalism and aesthetic perspective, provides the formation of the concept of traditional aesthetics. In the present study, the concept of meta aesthetics, which can be seen from a phenomenological analysis and cultural industries, is examined, aesthetic value, social position, and interpretation of art are evaluated. When the aesthetic pleasure offered by the culture industry as a promise as a result of this analysis is observed in the focus of traditional arts; idea generation, the originality of the work, the process of reflection, and the involvement of physical labor, and these issues can determine aesthetic pleasure. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the culture, which emerged as an industry that feeds the consumer society, was shaped within the framework of the consumers' wishes, the production process of traditional arts was transformed into mass production in industrial form, tools and equipment replaced the master-apprentice method, the traditional production and aesthetic pleasure fed by the society were replaced by use-value, and the traditional aesthetic concept is depicted.
