Tiyatroda kavram olarak yanılsama, sergilenen eserin seyircideki inandırıcılık etkisidir. Seyirci bu kavram sayesinde sahnede olup bitenleri gerçekten yaşanmış olarak düşünmekte, bunun sonucunda da kimi zaman ortaya bazı reaksiyonlar koymaktadır. Yanılsamayı sağlayan faktörler arasında oyuncuların performansı, dekorun inandırıcılığı, oyun metninin etkisi, seyircilerin psikolojik durumları gibi etkenler sayılabilir. Bu çalışmada yanılsama kavramının piyese olan etkisine odaklanılırken aynı zamanda romantizm ve klasisizm akımlarının seyirci davranışları üzerindeki tesiri irdelenmiş, romantik tiyatronun klasisizmden ayrılan yönlerinin toplumsal dönüşümle kurduğu bağ sorgulanmıştır. Böylelikle yanılsama kavramının ortaya çıkış koşulları tartışılmıştır. Ayrıca yanılsama kavramının metin merkezli destekleyicileri analiz edilirken, aynı zamanda diyalog, tirat ve söylemsel hamaset unsurları örneklerle açıklanmıştır. Namık Kemal’deki toplumcu hissiyat mümkün olduğunca toplum dil bilimi açısından değerlendirilmiş, Osmanlı’nın yıkılma sürecinin toplumsal ve bireysel yansımalarına parantez açılmıştır. Makalede yanılsama kavramının ve “Vatan yahut Silistre”nin toplum üzerindeki etkisi tartışılırken, halkın tiyatro vasıtasıyla eğitilmesi hususu da irdelenmiştir. Nitekim Namık Kemal halkın tiyatro vasıtasıyla bilinçlendirilebileceğine inandığından; halkı eğitmek amacıyla romantik akımın ağır bastığı tezli tiyatroyu benimsemiş ve tiyatronun insanımızı eğlendirerek eğitmesinin çok yerinde olacağını düşünmüştür. İşte bu makalede Namık Kemal’in romantizmden etkilenerek Tanzimat Dönemi’nde yazmış olduğu “Vatan yahut Silistre” piyesindeki yanılsama kavramının etkileri hermenötik yöntemle incelenmiştir.
The illusion as a concept in theater is the credibility effect of the work exhibited on the audience. By means of this concept, the audience thinks what is happening on the stage as something that actually happens, and as a result, they sometimes present some reactions. The performance of the players, the credibility of the decor, the effect of the play text, and the psychological condition of the audience can be cited as the factors that create illusion. In our study, while focusing on the effect of the illusion concept on the play, the effect of romanticism and classicism movements on audience behavior was also examined, and the connection between the aspects of romantic theater that separated from classicism and social transformation was questioned. Thus, the emerging conditions of the illusion concept are discussed. In addition, while analyzing the text-centered supporters of the illusion concept, the elements of dialogue, tirat and discursive heroism were also explained with examples.
