Acute appendicitis is one of the most frequent causes of acute abdomen and is the most frequent abdominal surgical procedure, too. Taking a good history and medical examination is very important in diagnosis of acute appendicitis. Laboratory findings and imaging techniques could be useful in diagnosis. But, the diagnosis of acute appendicitis is made mainly by taking clinical history and by clinical findings. Laboratory findings and imaging techniques support diagnosis, but never exclude. In our case, the diagnosis was done by examination only. Laboratory and imaging techniques did not support the diagnosis, so explorative surgery was done and the case came out to be acute appendicitis.
