Abstract:

The most important task of art education is to give students the ability to develop their imaginary worlds at every stage of education, to reveal their creativity and to express themselves in the best way. It is also one of the important elements that aims to provide students to society as producing, aesthetically thinking individuals. Aesthetics, which is processed as a lesson in institutions that provide art education, contains difficult theoretical knowledge to understand for students who are in the early stages of art education. The importance of the aesthetic course included in the curriculum of the High School of Fine Arts associated with the Ministry of Education is great in art education. The methods and perspectives of the students to the aesthetic course that the teacher of visual arts at a beautiful arts high school in Sivas applied in the processing of the aesthetic course are the subject of this study. In this study, the quality research method is applied, the video recordings of the course, the teacher interview forms, the student interview forms are collected and analyzed as data. This study was conducted according to the critical model.
