Abstract:

This research was carried out with the aim of determining the effect of the education giyen to first class students of Atatürk University Erzincan School of Health on the level of assertiveness of the students as quasi -experimental and pretest-posttest with control group on 2003-2004 educational fail semester. The contex of the study consists of the students first class of Atatürk University Erzincan School of Health department of nursing 53 persons and the students first class of Erzurum School of Health depertment of nursing 63 persons . The sampling of the study was made up of 96 students, 46 of whom were experiment group, and 50 of them were control group. The data were collected by means of questionnaire form determining sociodemographic features of the students, and The College Self -Expression Scale.
