Abstract:

In this study, in order to make the periodic calibration of electronic measurement devices faster and high accuracy, the automation of calibration procedures with the new generation software and hardware support has been achieved. Interchangeable Virtual Instruments (IVI) technology, which has been in the forefront in the control of measurement devices in recent years, is aimed at improving the performance and flexibility of the automation system by using the calibration automation software. The interchangeability (interchangeability) of the devices offered by the IVI standards, the simulation (simulation) and the state-caching (state-caching) characteristics and the system’s long-term usability have been shown in an example application. The impact of software parameters on time and human power savings, which is the main goal of a calibration automation, has also been addressed through the example application.
