Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı tarafından açılan 4-6 yaş Kur’an kurslarının amacı, çocukların İslam dininin değerlerinin insan hayatına anlam kazandıran olgulardan biri olduğunu fark etmelerini, Kur’an-ı Kerim’i ses ve şekil olarak tanımalarını, sağlıklı bir din ve ahlak gelişimini sağlamaktır. Kurslarda uygulanan müfredat akademisyenler ve okul öncesi öğretmenlerinden oluşan ekip tarafından hazırlanmaktadır. İlahiyat Fakültesi, İlitam, Ön lisans İlahiyat ve İmam-Hatip lisesi mezunu olup halk eğitim merkezi, üniversitelerin uzaktan eğitim merkezleri, Başkanlık tarafından düzenlenen programlardan sertifika alan öğreticiler bu kurslarda görev yapmaktadır. Araştırmanın amacı da 4-6 yaş Kur’an kursu öğreticilerinin tecrübelerinden yola çıkarak söz konusu kurslarda görev yapan öğreticilerin yeterlikleri, öğrenci ve öğrenci velileri ile ilgili deneyimlerini ortaya çıkarmaktır. Çalışmada nitel veri toplama yöntemlerinden görüşme ve doküman analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada 18 kurs öğreticisiyle görüşme yapılmış, elde edilen verilerin içerik analizi ile çözümlenmiştir. Birbirine benzeyen veriler belirli kavram ve temalar çerçevesinde bir araya getirilerek yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, öğreticilerin pedagojik formasyon bakımından kendilerini yetersiz gördükleri tespit edilmiştir. Hizmetiçi eğitimlerin teori ağırlıklı ve uzun aralıklarla yapıldığı, veli eğitiminin gerekliliği ortaya konulmuştur. Ayrıca velilerin çocuklarının okula hazırlanması yönünde taleplerinin olduğu, kurstan mezun olup ilkokula başlayan öğrencilerin akademik başarı gösterdikleri tespit edilmiştir. Bu başarıya öğreticilerin bireysel gayretleri ile ulaşıldığı, kursu müfredatında çocukları okula hazırlayıcı içerik olmadığı belirlenmiştir.

The goal of the 4-6-year-old Qur'an courses opened by the Presidency of Religious Affairs is that children realize that the values of the Islamic religion are one of the facts that make sense to human life, recognize the Qur'an as a voice and shape, and ensure a healthy religion and moral development. The curriculum applied in the courses is prepared by a team of academics and pre-school teachers. The Faculty of Theology, Ilitam, Pre-Bachelor of Theology and Imam-Hatip High School graduates and teachers who receive certification from the public education center, universities’ distance education centers, programmes organized by the Presidency are responsible for these courses. The purpose of the study is also to reveal the skills of teachers who work in these courses, based on the experience of 4-6-year-old teachers of the Qur’an course, and their experience with the student and student guardians. In the study, the method of interview and document analysis from the quality data collection methods was used. The study was discussed with 18 course teachers, and the results were analyzed by the content of the data obtained. The data similar to each other are interpreted by gathering in the framework of specific concepts and themes. The research has found that teachers find themselves insufficient in terms of pedagogical formation. The theory of servicing training is done on a long and weighty range, the need for servicing training is revealed. It is also found that the parents have their demands to prepare their children for school, that students who graduate from the course and begin the primary school have shown academic success. This success has been achieved by the teachers’ individual efforts, and it has been determined that there is no content preparing the children to school in the curriculum.

Qur’an courses have been opened for 4-6 years old by Presidency of Religious Affairs, showed academic success and ensure children realize the values of Islamic religion meaning to human life, recognize sound and form of Qur’an, develop healthy religion and morality. Applied courses prepared by academicians, pre-school teachers and experts. Graduates educated from Faculty of Theology, İlitam, Associate of Theology degree and Imam-Hatip High School, public education, distance education centres of universities, and instructor work in these courses who receive certificates from programs which is organized by Presidency. Because there aren’t undergraduate or graduate levels educational institutions for training people who give religious education in early childhood in Turkey. The aim of study reveal competencies 4-6 years old of instructors works in courses based on experiences of teachers with students and their parents. In the study, it is used qualitative methodology, interview and document analysis. 18 instructors were interviewed and content analysis was used for data obtained. Similar data was combined and interpreted within framework of certain concepts and themes. It was determined that instructors have considered themselves insufficient in pedagogical formation. According to the findings, trainings are theoretically and long intervals in-service. During training process, the necessity of parent education and positive developments in families demonstrated which determined that parents had requests for their children to be prepared for school. In addition, it was determined that students showed academic success who graduated from course and started primary school. However, the achievement was determined individual efforts of instructors, and there wasn’t content preparing children for school course of 4-6 years.
