Abstract:

Traffic is one of the important factors that cause environmental pollution. Traffic density is increasing with each passing day. With this intensity pollution of water sources close to motorways, the dirtiness of rate / risk is increasing with each passing day. Therefore, the protection of the available resources is of vital importance. For this purpose, the protection of drinking w ater supplies, studies in environmental protection work is rapidly increasing in recent years. These studies made in the field of measurement, monitoring and implementation efforts / legislation and the relevant studies are discussed. The drinking water of 90% needs are met from Sapanca Lake in the city of Sakarya. The southern part of the highways and railways, which both sides of the lake from the drainage waters of the lake has a negative effect. In this study, the pollution detection and elimina te in Rain water, wetlands method was used.
