Abstract:

With the pace of globalization after the Cold War, international terrorist organizations, which began to be seen as one of the actors in international politics, have become one of the greatest threats to humanity in recent times. The terror events that are happening today and the deaths of many innocent civilians have become the priority of the international community. This article aims to reveal the point of global cooperation in international terrorism. Initially, the definition of international terrorism was made, the place and historical process in international law were described and the financial sources of terrorism were attempted to be identified. Continuing to discuss the methods of fighting international terrorism, global cooperation, which is seen as an utopia, has been discussed. After all, a general assessment was made, the aspects needed for the fight were analyzed.
