Çevre, en geniş anlamıyla bir yaşama alanıdır. Bu yaşama alanına dair sorunların her geçen gün artarak devam etmesi, meselenin küresel bir sorun haline gelmesine ve disiplinlerarası bir boyut kazanmasına sebep olmuştur. Bu sorunun çözümüne ilişkin siyasal, sosyal ve ekonomik alanlarda tartışmalar yapılmış, nihayetinde çevre sorunlarının çözümünde en etkili ve kalıcı çözüm yolunun eğitim olduğu kanaatine varılmıştır. Ülkemizde çevre bilincini oluşturmaya yönelik okullarda (ilkokul, ortaokul ve lise) müstakil bir ders bulunmamakta, çevre eğitimi farklı dersler içerisinde verilmektedir. Çevre bilinci oluşturulmasında dinlerin verdiği mesajlar da oldukça önemlidir. Bu bağlamda İslam’ın çevreye verdiği önemin örgün ve yaygın din eğitimi yoluyla etkili bir şekilde aktarılmasında Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi dersi ve Kur’an kursları önemli bir konuma sahiptir. İşte bu çalışmamızda Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi dersi (4-8. sınıflar) ve İhtiyaç Odaklı Kur’an Kursları öğretim programlarında ve ders kitaplarında çevre bilincini oluşturmaya yönelik konu ve kazanımların ne ölçüde ve ne kadar verildiği içerik analizi yöntemiyle tespit edilerek değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Böylece çevre konusunun din eğitimi açısından da gündeme getirilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Çalışmada çevre bilinci oluşturmaya yönelik konu ve kazanımlar olmakla birlikte, bunların sayıca çok az olduğu, dini referansların yeterince kullanılmadığı, dolayısıyla öğretim programı ve ders kitaplarının bu haliyle öğrencilerde çevre bilinci oluşturmaya yönelik yeterli katkı sağlamayacağı sonucuna varılmıştır. Bu durum Kur’an ve Sünnet ekseninde din eğitiminde çevre eğitimine özel bir yer ayrılmasını, bütüncül çevre bilinci oluşturabilmek için disiplinlerarası bir çalışmayı ve öğretim programı ve ders kitaplarının içeriğinin bu şekilde tekrar oluşturulmasını gerekli kılmaktadır.
The environment is, in the broadest sense, a living area. The problem with this area of life continues to increase every day, which has led to the issue to become a global problem and to gain an interdisciplinary dimension. The political, social and economic spheres on the solution of this problem have been discussed, and the conclusion is that the most effective and lasting way to solve environmental problems is education. In our country there is no special course in schools (first, secondary and high school) to create environmental awareness, environmental education is given in different courses. The messages given by the religions in the creation of environmental awareness are also very important. In this context, the importance of Islam to the environment is effectively transmitted through religious and widespread education and the religious culture and ethical knowledge courses and the Qur'an courses have an important place. In this study we have tried to evaluate the course of Religious Culture and Ethical Knowledge (4-8 classes) and the need-focused Qur’an courses in the teaching programmes and in the curriculum books by identifying how much and how much of the subjects and achievements aimed at creating environmental awareness are given by the content analysis method. It is also intended that the environmental subject of the religious education should be brought into place. Although the study has been a subject and achievement aimed at creating environmental awareness, it has concluded that the number of them is very small, that religious references are not used sufficiently, and that the curriculum and the curriculum will not contribute sufficiently to the creation of environmental awareness in the students. This situation requires the dedication of a special place to environmental education in the Quran and Sunnah axis, a interdisciplinary study to create comprehensive environmental awareness and the re-creation of the content of the curriculum and the curriculum in this way.
