Bu çalışmanın amacı Hulleman, Godes, Hendricks ve Harackiewicz (2009, 2010) tarafından geliştirilen “İşe Yararlılık Değeri Odaklı İlgi ve Performans Ölçeği” (İYDO-İPÖ) adlı ölçme aracının Türkçe ’ye uyarlanmasıdır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, Hambleton ve Patsula (1999) tarafından belirlenen ölçek uyarlama aşamaları takip edilmiştir. İlk olarak, alt boyutlar doğrultusunda 34 maddeden oluşan ölçek elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 6 farklı devlet okulunda öğrenim gören 752 ortaokul öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Ölçeğin dil geçerliğine yönelik uygulamaların tamamlanmasının ardından ölçek uyarlama aşamaları izlenerek süreç yürütülmüştür. Ölçeğin yapı geçerliliğini test etmek amacıyla açımlayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi teknikleri ve geçerlik ve güvenirlik işlemleri uygulanmıştır. Ölçeğin güvenirliğini belirlemek için; Cronbach’s Alpha katsayıları, %27’lik dilime göre belirlenen alt ve üst grupların madde-toplam korelasyonları ve bu grupların arasındaki puan farklılıklarının anlamlılık düzeyi için t-testi kullanılmıştır. Analiz süreçleri sonucunda 4 faktörlü 23 maddeden oluşan beşli Likert tipindeki ölçek elde edilmiştir. Bu bağlamda, ölçeğin Türkçe uyarlamasının geçerli ve güvenilir olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
The aim of this study is to adapt the measurement tool called the Interest and Performance Measurement (YDO-IPÖ) developed by Hulleman, Godes, Hendricks and Harackiewicz (2009, 2010) to Turkish. For this purpose, the scale adjustment stages determined by Hambleton and Patsula (1999) were followed. First, a scale consisting of 34 items was obtained according to the lower dimensions. The study group consists of 752 high school students studying in 6 different public schools. After the completion of the application for the language validity of the scale, the process was carried out by monitoring the scale adjustment stages. To test the structural validity of the measurement, detection and verification factor analysis techniques and validity and reliability processes have been applied. To determine the reliability of the measurement; Cronbach's Alpha ratings were used for the t-test for the substance-comprehensive correlations of the lower and upper groups determined according to the 27% range and the significance level of the score differences between these groups. As a result of the analysis processes, a scale of five Likert type, consisting of 4 factors and 23 substances, was obtained. In this context, the conclusion has been achieved is that the Turkish adaptation of the scale is valid and reliable.
