Abstract:

In every stage of the educational practice, taking into account the ethical codes, planning and implementation of the practices enhances the quality of education. In this context, the research aims to identify the ethical codes a teacher/leader should pay attention to in the course design process, in the creation of the course content, in the learning-learning situations and in the measurement and evaluation processes. In the research, one of the quality research methods has been used. In this direction, discussions were held with 17 teachers with experience of teaching with distance learning working in different fields of maternity. Interviews were conducted using the interview form prepared in accordance with the purpose of the research. The data obtained from the conversations were analyzed using the content analysis method. In the process of analysis, each of the interview questions was considered as a topic. In the framework of the research, the concepts were first identified from the data obtained, then the similar concepts were interpreted together and categories were created. In this framework, 4 categories, including design, access, interaction and student characteristics, are created in the framework of the codes specified under the course design theme. Under the theme of the creation of the curriculum content, three categories have been created: science, reflection/neutrality and copyright. Under the theme of learning-learning situations, the trainer’s behavior and qualification categories are created. Under the subject of measurement and evaluation, guidelines are prepared, feedback, up-to-date, student suitability, reliability and validity categories are created. It is believed that the ethical codes determined by the research results will lead to distance learning planners and practitioners in the educational practices.
