Siyasal davranış ve siyasal katılım çalışmaları içinde gelişen seçmen davranışı araştırmaları, bu gün hem siyaset bilimcilerin hem de kamu oyunun en çok dikkatini çeken konulardan biridir. Seçmen davranışı çok boyutlu bir kavram olup, birçok faktörün etkisi altında gerçekleşmektedir. Bu çalışma, seçmen davranışına etki eden sosyo-psikolojik faktörlere ilişkin bir alan araştırmasına dayanmaktadır. Bu amaçla, Pamukkale Üniversitesine kayıtlı öğrencilerden, 410 denek üzerinde 37 soruluk anket çalışması yapılmıştır. Genç seçmenlerin kendilerini tanımladıkları siyasi kimlikler ile elde edilen veriler çaprazlanarak, oy vermelerine etki eden psikolojik faktörler ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır.
Today, one of the subjects that attract the most attention of both political scientist and the public is the research on voter behavior that develops within the studies of political behavior and political participation. Voter behavior is both a multidimensional concept and takes place under the influence of many factors. This study is based on a branch study on socio-psychological factors affecting voter behavior. For this purpose, among the students registered at Pamukkale University; A survey of 37 questions was administered to 410 subjects. The political identities with wich young voters define themselves and the data obtainedfrom the survey were crossed, and the psychological factors affecting their voting were tried to be determined.
