Türkiye’de üniversite öğrencilerinin önemli bir kısmının kariyer hedefi, kamuya memur olarak atanmaktır. Ancak devletin memur olmayı isteyen tüm üniversite öğrencilerini istihdam etmesi mümkün görünmemektedir. Bu noktada üniversite öğrencileri için alternatif bir kariyer seçeneği olarak girişimcilik ve üniversitelerde verilen girişimcilik eğitimleri önemli hale gelmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı tamamen memur olmaya odaklanmış üniversite öğrencilerinin girişimcilik dersine olan yaklaşımları ve bakış açılarını tespit ederek dersi ve dersin gerekliliğini değerlendirmektir. Bu amaçla Sağlık Hizmetleri Meslek Yüksekokulunda girişimcilik dersi almış ve tek amaçları memur olmak olan 52 öğrenciyle yarı yapılandırılmış bir form aracılığıyla nitel bir araştırma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Nitel araştırmadan elde edilen veriler içerik analiziyle kodlanarak temalar oluşturulmuştur. Elde edilen temalara göre girişimcilik eğitiminin girişimciliği bir kariyer seçeneği olarak düşünmelerine, girişimcilik ile ilgili bilgi ve becerilerini geliştirmelerine, yeteneklerinin farkına varmalarına, girişimcilik potansiyellerini ve girişimci ruhlarını ortaya çıkarmalarına, iş fikri üretmeye yönlenmelerine ve girişimcilik eğilimlerini arttırmalarına katkı sağladığı tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca girişimcilik dersinden daha verimli sonuçların elde edilebilmesi için uygulamaya dönük faaliyetlerin yapılması ve uzaktan eğitim ile verilmemesi gerektiği tespit edilmiştir.
The career goal of a significant portion of university students in Turkey is to be appointed as a public officer. But it does not seem possible that the government will employ all university students who want to be officials. At this point, entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship training offered at universities as an alternative career option for university students is becoming important. The aim of this study is to evaluate the need for the course and course by identifying the approaches and perspectives of the university students who are fully focused on becoming officials to the course of entrepreneurship. For this purpose, a qualified research has been carried out through a semi-configured form with 52 students who have received entrepreneurship lessons at the Health Services Professional High School and are the only objectives to be officials. The data obtained from quality research is coded by content analysis and themes are created. According to the subjects obtained, entrepreneurship training has been found to contribute to thinking entrepreneurship as a career option, developing their knowledge and skills related to entrepreneurship, realizing their abilities, revealing their entrepreneurship potential and entrepreneurial spirit, directing them to producing business ideas and increasing their entrepreneurship trends. The majority of university students have focused on a career goal to be appointed as public servant in Turkey. However, it is not possible for the state to employ all university students who want to become public servants. At this point, entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship trainings in universities become important as an alternative career option for university students. The aim of this study is to detect the approaches and point of view of university students that are completely focused on being a civil servant on the entrepreneurship course and evaluate the necessity of it. Accordingly, a qualitative research has been carried out through a semi-structured form applied to 52 health services vocational school students that have had an entrepreneurship course and have a single aim which is to be a civil servant. Themes were formed through content analysis on the data gained by qualitative research. According to the themes emerged, entrepreneurship education contributed participants’ thinking entrepreneurship as a career choice, developing their knowledge and skills on entrepreneurship, realizing their abilities, revealing their entrepreneurship potential and entrepreneurial spirit, leading towards creating business ideas and increasing their entrepreneurial tendencies. Besides, it is found out that actions that provide application should be carried out and the course shouldn’t be lectured through distance education in order to make the course more productive.
