The purpose of this study is to examine the postgraduate theses made on public expenditures which is one of the fiscal policy tools between the years of 2010 - 2020 in Turkey and reveal the developments in the subject in recent years. Qualitative research method was used in the research, and document analysis method was used for data collection. In this context, a search was carried out for the theses made between the years of 2010-2020, and the relevant data were analyzed using the descriptive analysis method, which was reached from the National Thesis Center of YOK (Higher Education Institution). According to the results of the analysis, it has been revealed that the most theses on public expenditures were written in 2019, and most of them were master's theses. In addition, when the distribution of the subjects studied in the theses was examined, it was concluded that the majority of theses were related to economic growth, that the most theses were prepared in Atatürk University and that the theses discussed in the last period used the most empirical methods and applied economic analysis methods in data analysis.
