Bu araştırmanın amacı, DergiPark veri tabanında bulunan İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi dergilerinde yayımlanmış bölgesel kalkınma konulu çalışmaları bibliyometrik analiz yöntemiyle incelemektir. Literatürde bölgesel kalkınma politikalarına ilişkin teorik ve ampirik pek çok çalışma bulunurken, bibliyometrik herhangi bir çalışmaya rastlanmamaktadır. Bibliyometrik çalışmalar bir kavramın süreç içerisinde yaşadığı dönüşümü yansıtmak amaçlı kullanılmaktadır. Bu türdeki çalışmalar farklı araştırmaları karşılaştırma imkanı sağlamaktadır. Aynı zamanda bilimsel araştırma ve yayın politikalarının meydana getirilmesi amaçlı da bibliyometrik çalışmalardan yararlanılmaktadır. Bu kapsamda belirlenen veri tabanında yer alan 40 farklı üniversitenin dergisi taranmıştır. 1977-2018 yılları arasında araştırma kapsamındaki dergilerde bölgesel kalkınma konulu 103 adet makaleye ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmada, bölgesel kalkınma alanında değerlendirilme amaçlı olarak yazar sayıları, yazarların kurumları, yazar ünvanları, çalışmanın yayımlandığı dergiler, anahtar kelimeler, kaynak sayıları, yayın dili ve çalışmanın türü gibi veriler dikkate alınmıştır.
The purpose of this research is to study the regional development-related studies published in the journals of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences located in the JournalPark database using the bibliometric analysis method. While there are many theoretical and empirical studies on regional development policies in literature, any bibliometric studies are not found. Bibliometric studies are used to reflect the transformation of a concept in the process. This type of research makes it possible to compare different studies. It is also used by bibliometric studies for the purpose of creating scientific research and publication policies. The magazine of 40 different universities included in the determined database has been scanned. Between 1977 and 2018, the research-based journals received 103 articles on regional development. The study took into account data such as the number of authors, the institutions of authors, the authors' titles, the magazines in which the work was published, the keywords, the source numbers, the language of publication and the type of work.
The objective of this study is to analyze the studies, available in DergiPark database, over regional development which have been published on the journals of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences by means of bibliometric analysis method. While there are many theoretical and empirical studies regarding regional development policies in literature, there seems to be no bibliometric ones. Bibliometric studies are used to reflect the transformation of a concept over time. These kinds of studies allow the researchers to compare diverse researches. Besides, bibliometric studies are also employed to form scientific research and publishing policies. Journals of 40 different universities, specified within this scope and found in the database, have been examined. 103 articles addressing regional development and published between 1977 and 2018 have been reached. In the study for the purpose of an assessment in field of regional development, such data as the number of authors, institutions of authors, titles of authors, journals in which the studies were published, key words, number of references, language of the publication and type of the study have been taken into account.
