The curiosity of foreign readers especially about Chinese literature, also started the translation and publication of Chinese literature. In this context, the Chinese government has launched a large-scale literary translation and publication project since 2009. This project has recorded a certain stage in the spread of Chinese literature to overseas countries. But the acquisition of modern and contemporary Chinese literature abroad is still not very stable. This study introduces translations of modern and contemporary Chinese literature in Europe and America in general. As well as the development of Chinese literature in other countries is studied, information is provided primarily on certain major universities in which Chinese education is provided in the overseas countries and on Chinese literature magazines published worldwide.
