Vâridât, Şeyh Bedreddin düşüncesinin metafiziksel boyutlarına ilişkin önemli verileri barındırsa da doğası itibarı ile bu konuda net ve tam teşekküllü bir resmin çizilmesi için yetersiz bir eserdir. Ayrıca eserin biçim ve içeriği, araştırmacılar arasında kesintisiz bir tartışmayı kaçınılmaz kılmaktadır. Şeyh Bedreddin imgelerinin, naif bir panteizm olarak da alınabilecek, vahdet-i mevcut ile vahdet-i vücut anlayışları arasında salınmasına mukabil Şeyh Bedreddin’in bizzat kendisi tasavvuf sistematiği açısından klasikleşmiş bir eser olan Dâvûd el-Kayserî’nin Mukaddemât’ına en az kırk bir talik düşmüştür. Literatürde Hâşiyetu matla‘i husûsi’l-kilem fî me‘ânî fusûsi’l-hikem ismiyle bilinen bu talikler, Vâridât’ta sistematik bir tarzda sunulmayan metafiziksel hatların netleştirilmesi, böylelikle süregiden tartışmaya verimli bir katkıda bulunma imkânlarını barındırması açısından oldukça önemlidir. Söz gelimi Vâridât’ta zikredilmeyen ‘amâ, hazerât-ı hamse, feyz-i akdes ve feyz-i mukaddes, a‘yân-ı sâbite, teşkîk gibi kavramlara sözü edilen taliklerde yer verilmesi ya da Abdurrezzâk el-Kâşânî ve hatta Mukaddemât dolayımıyla Dâvûd el-Kayserî’ye referansta bulunulması Şeyh Bedreddin’in düşünce dünyası hakkında daha iyi kavrayış geliştirmek için değerlendirilebilir. İşte bu zeminde, çalışmada varlığın kökeni (mebde), sonu (me‘âd) ve fark düzlemindeki süreçleri üzerine araştırma anlamına gelen metafizik çerçeve esas alındı. Bu çerçeveye bağlı olarak öncelikle Şeyh Bedreddin düşüncesinde varlık mertebeleri, hazerât-ı hamse ve ayan-ı sabite kavramları da dikkate alınarak yeniden incelendi. Vâridât’ın en tartışmalı konularından ikisi olan ahiret hâllerinin cismaniliği ve âlemin kıdemi meselelerinin bu çerçeve ile ilişkisi sorgulandı. Hâşiyetu matla‘i husûsi’l-kilem fî me‘ânî fusûsi’l-hikem ismiyle bilinen eserin, “Ta‘lîkât ‘ale’l-mukaddemât” (TM) ismiyle yeniden adlandırılması teklif edilerek bunun gerekçeleri sunuldu. Buna ilaveten ek bölümde, sözü edilen eserdeki Şeyh Bedreddin imzalı tüm talikler ile bunların tercümeleri sunularak literatüre kazandırıldı.
Although Vâridât contains important data about the metaphysical dimensions of Sheikh Bedreddin's thought, it is inadequate to draw a clear and complete picture on this subject with its reputation. Furthermore, the form and content of the work makes unavoidable an uninterrupted discussion among the researchers. The image of Sheikh Bedreddin, which can also be taken as a naive panteism, was able to release between the existing and the existing body concepts of Sheikh Bedreddin himself, a classicist work in terms of tasavvuf systematism, had at least a thirty talks to the Mukhademath of David al-Kayseri. In literature, these talks known as Hâşiyetu matla'i husûsi'l-kilem fî me'ânî fusûsi'l-hikem are very important in terms of the clarification of metaphysical lines that are not presented in a systematic style in Vâridât, thus hosting the possibilities of making an effective contribution to the discussion from the long run. Here on this ground, the study was based on the metaphysical framework that means research on the processes in the origin of the existence (mebde), end (me'âd) and differential level. In this framework, first of all, Sheikh Bedreddin's thought was re-examined by taking into account the existence stages, the hazerât-i hamse and the adhesive concepts. The two of the most controversial subjects of the Qur’an are the existence of the world and the relationship of the world with this framework.
