This research was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness level of teams, which are used continuously by health institutions to provide effectively services expected from them, and whether organizational factors affects the total team effectiveness or not. In the research, a questionnaire developed based on a compherensive literature review was used as data collection tool. In the research, as a result of literature review, a team effectiveness model developed based on the input, process and output approach was used. According to the results of research, it was found that ownership status, being a training and research hospital or not and type of working as organizational factors affected signifi cantly the total team effectiveness
