Amaç: Bu çalışmada, alanyazındaki araştırmalardan ve gözlemlerden yola çıkılarak özel öğrenme güçlüğüne (ÖÖG) sahip çocukların ebeveynlerindeki anne-baba stres durumu, depresyon ve anksiyete düzeyleri ile ÖGG tanısı almamış çocukların ebeveynlerinin anne-baba stres durumu, depresyon ve anksiyete düzeylerinin karşılaştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Yöntem: Çalışma kapsamında, ÖGG’ye sahip çocukların ebeveynleri (n=34) ve kontrol grubu olarak ta ÖGG’ye sahip olmayan çocukların ebeveynleri (n=35) çalışmaya alınmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak Beck Depresyon Envanteri (BDE), Beck Anksiyete Envanteri (BAE) ve Anne-Baba Stres Envanteri (ABSE) kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılan 69 kişinin %63,8’i kadın, %36,2’si erkektir. ÖÖG olan çocuğa sahip ebeveynlerin BDE’den aldıkları puanlar ile ÖÖG tanısı almamış çocuğa sahip ebeveynlerin aldıkları puanlar arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunamamıştır. BAE’den aldıkları puan ile vaka grubunda bulunan ebeveynlerin aldıkları puanlar analiz edilmiştir. Bu testin sonucuna göre iki grup arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunamamıştır. Kontrol grubunda bulunan ebeveynlerin ABSE’den aldıkları puan ile vaka grubunda bulunan ebeveynlerin aldıkları analiz edilmiştir. Bu testin sonucuna göre ÖGG tanısı almış çocukların ebeveynlerinin, tanı almamış çocukların ebeveynlerine göre stres durumlarının yüksek çıktığı görülerek, iki grup arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre, ebeveynlerin ÖGG tanılı bir çocuğa sahip olmasının depresyon düzeyine etki etmediği sonucuna varılmıştır. Araştırmanın vaka grubunu oluşturan ÖGG tanılı ebeveynlerin anne baba stres seviyelerinin, kontrol grubunu oluşturan ebeveynlerden daha yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Bu bulgu doğrultusunda, ÖGG tanısı olan çocuğa sahip olmanın ebeveynler açısından bir stres oluşturduğu söylenebilir.
Purpose: This study, based on research and observations in the field, aims to compare the stress status of parents and parents in their parents of children with special learning disabilities, depression and anxiety levels, and the stress status of parents and parents of children who have not been diagnosed with OGG, depression and anxiety levels. Method: In the framework of the study, the parents of children with OGG (n=34) and the parents of children with no OGG (n=35) were taken to work. As a data collection tool, Beck Depression Reserve (BDE), Beck Anxiety Reserve (BAE) and Mother-Father Stress Reserve (ABSE) were used. Results: 63.8% of the 69 participants in the study were women and 36.2% men. There is no meaningful difference between the points that the parents with the child who have the BDE and the points that the parents with the child who have the child who have the child who have the child who have the child who have the child who have the child who have the child who have the child who have the child. The points they received from the UAE and the points the parents in the case group received were analyzed. According to the results of this test, there was no significant difference between the two groups. Parents in the control group received the score from ABSE and the parents in the case group received the score. The results of this test showed a significant difference between the parents of the children diagnosed with OGG, and the parents of the undiagnosed children with a high stress status, between the two groups. Results: The findings from the study have found that parents have an OGG-defined child does not affect the level of depression. The study found that parents who formed the case group were more stressful than parents who formed the control group. According to this conclusion, it can be said that having a child with an OGG diagnosis is a stress for the parents.
