Abstract:

In the past of Anadolu, there is a rooted game tradition. If it goes much older, it is known that these games have mythical and artistic aspects. These games have become fun, entertaining audience games that keep the society together over time. In this study will be demonstrated the "deve games" that carry traces of the devicity culture in many parts of Anadolu. Anatolia's way of life connected to land and livestock appears clearly in the cultural identity of society, in memory. This effect is directed to almost every area of life, with the way of life, with the existence of word. It is possible to detect this effect from everyday life, to traditions, to verbal cultural products. Deve games are also among the traditional games that live among oral cultural products. In the field studies on the culture of devecity in the past have been found that devecity is focused on entertainment over time, with the time in which devecity is involved in many areas of life, with the time in which the number of devecity is reduced, with the time in which the function in daily life is evolved towards competitions. In many regions of Anadolu, especially in the winter months, on holidays, on weddings, many villas are playing the audience game, especially on the basis of animal comparison. The point that is remarkable in this study is the thesis that the cattle games are continued in the memory of society through games in places where the devicity begins to decrease.
