The aims of this study were to determineantibiotic susceptibilities of P. aeruginosa strains.Ninety eight P. aeruginosa strains, isolated from theclinical samples of patients applied to ErciyesUniversity Medical Faculty Hospitals between theJune 2011 and September 2011, were included tothe study.ciprofloxacin, imipenem, ertapenem, piperacillin/sulbactam, netilmicin, meropenem were performedby agar dilution method; susceptibilities tocefepime, amikacin were investigated by E-test methodaccording susceptibilities of the strains were as follows;amikacin 91.8 %, piperacillin / tazobactam 84.6 %,ciprofloxacin 79.5 %, ceftazidime 76.5 %, cefepime74.5 %, netilmicin 72.5 %, meropenem 56.1 %,imipenem 38.8 %, ertapenem 2 %, cefoperazone /sulbactam 1 %. Aminoglycosides like amikacin andnetilmicin, ciprofloxacin should be first choice of antibioticsfor empirical treatment of pseudomonal infectionsin our hospital
