This article aims to identify accommodation patterns in speech behaviour in Bilingual TV shows. Speakers normally accommodate their speech to the people they like or whom they want to be liked, and they diverge either from those they dislike or to highlight their identity. This study applies theoretical frame work of accommodation given by Giles (1970) for the identification of type of accommodation. The results indicate that speakers apply more diverse strategies of accommodation while talking with female hostess as compared to the strategies used in conversation with male host where speakers accommodate each other in almost all the utterances. The findings of the study can be helpful in understanding the language behavior in specific context.
