Bu araştırmanın amacı, ortaokul altıncı sınıf öğrencilerinin sesli okuma hızları ile prozodik okumaları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Araştırma nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden ilişkisel tarama türündedir. Araştırmanın evrenini 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim yılında Yozgat il merkezindeki ortaokul altıncı sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Örneklemde toplamda 418 öğrenci yer almaktadır. Ortaokul altıncı sınıf öğrencilerinin sesli okuma hızlarını belirlemek amacıyla, ortaokul altıncı sınıf Türkçe ders kitabından bir metin sesli olarak okutulmuştur. Bunun yanı sıra prozodik okuma ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin sesli okuma hızı ortalamasının x̄=104,94 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bir başka ifadeyle, ortaokul altıncı sınıf öğrencilerinin bir dakikada sesli okudukları kelime sayısı 105’tir. Ortaokul altıncı sınıf öğrencilerinin sesli okuma prozodi puanları x̄=2,53 S=,69’dur. Bir başka ifadeyle ortaokul altıncı sınıf öğrencilerinin sesli okuma prozodilerinin orta düzeyde olduğu anlaşılmaktadır. Ortaokul altıncı sınıf öğrencilerinin sesli okuma hızı ile sesli okuma prozodileri arasında (r=0,433 p<0,01) orta düzeyde, pozitif yönlü, anlamlı bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir.
The purpose of this study is to study the relationship between the voice reading speeds of high school sixth grade students and prozotic reading. Research is a type of relative scan of quantum research methods. The universe of research is formed by sixth-class high school students in the Yozgat province center in the 2018-2019 educational year. In total, there are 418 students. In order to determine the voice reading speeds of high school sixth class students, a text from high school sixth class Turkish curriculum was read in voice. In addition to this, the pro-read scale was used. The average voice reading rate for students is x ̄=104.94. In other words, the number of words that high school sixth class students read by voice in a minute is 105. Reading aloud prosody scores of middle school sixth grade students x̄=2.53; S=.69. In other words, it is understood that the reading aloud prosody of the sixth grade students of secondary school is at a moderate level. A moderate, positive and significant relationship was found between the reading speed and oral reading prosody of sixth grade secondary school students (r=0.433; p<0.01).
The aim of this research is to investigate the relationship between the reading speed and prosodic readings of the sixth grade students in the secondary school. The research is of correlational design of quantitative research methods. The population of the research consists of the sixth grade students in the secondary school in the city center of Yozgat in the academic year 2018-2019. There are a total of 418 students in the sample. In order to determine the reading speed of the sixth grade students in the secondary school, a text from the sixth grade Turkish textbook was read. In addition, prosodic reading scale was used. The average reading speed of the students was determined as x̄=104.94. In other words, the number of words that the middle school sixth grade students read aloud in one minute is 105. Audition reading scores of the sixth grade students in the secondary school x̄=2.53; S= .69. In other words, it is understood that the reading aloud processes of the sixth grade students in the middle school are at an intermediate level. A moderate, positive and significant relationship was found between the reading aloud speed of the middle school students and the reading aloud prosody (r=0.433; p<0.01).
