Abstract:

Text linguistics is a discipline of science that examines the different connections of a totality within itself and with other totalities. Text linguistics also claims that in a narrative, the whole thing alone is not meaningful enough and it has completed its meaning as a result of some links it enters with other whole things. Because the text is not just the ordering of all the art. When the whole of the text is addressed, it gives different meanings as a whole. It is known that a correct and effective text must have the characteristics of cohesion, coherence, acceptability, intentionality, informativity, situationality and intertextuality. The consistency and consistency of these criteria are two very important elements for the text. Connectivity is the description of all the characteristics related to the language that establishes the text-internal relationships that enable a text to be a text; the description of the basic meaning relationships through any writing or speech part that can function as a text. Consistency is the meaning and logic connection between the words while creating a text; it is the logical connection in the text. The consistency with the structure of a text or language is related to logic or meaning. The aim of this study is to reveal whether the story of Haldun Taner, one of the great writers of Turkish literature on the basis of consistency and consistency, which is two important measures of the ability to be a correct and effective text, is linguistically functional.
